The SMARTbank extension for Microsoft Business Central, developed by Inventio.IT, enables direct integration with the company's banks. This integration allows for the automatic import of bank transactions from the company's bank accounts, as well as the transfer of payments from the financial system to the bank.
SMARTbank thus optimizes manual processes by eliminating the need for file transfers and manual data entry.
SMARTbank is designed to work in harmony with Business Central’s standard features: “General Journals,” “Bank Account Reconciliation,” and “Payment Journals.” Bank transactions can therefore be imported directly into General Journals and Bank Account Reconciliation, while Payment Journals serve as the basis for transferring payments to the bank.
This ensures that SMARTbank integrates seamlessly with Business Central’s standard functionality, without requiring additional process changes.
